As a business owner, you have to stay on top of your mindset game. It’s a non-negotiable.

No matter how strong your strategy and productivity is, if your mindset is frakked up, as my mentor said, you will not reach your income goals. Or, even if you do, you will eventually hit an income ceiling.

Too harsh? Well, I want you to know that I mean this with massive love. If you haven’t been there, you won’t understand. But if you have, you are in the right place. This post will teach you how to supercharge your millionaire mindset.

I stand for an anti-hustle mentality here at ChillSprout. I believe in being able to do what you love doing and still being filthy rich while doing it.

But, even I understand, that, especially in the beginning, it takes time and effort to build something. Rome wasn’t built in one day, they say.

And even though you CAN have quantum leaps in your business and mindset, you still have to start somewhere. You still have to dig deep enough towards a transformation.

You CAN change your mindset in one day, but it will STILL take some effort and work on your part.

So, how do you switch towards a millionaire mindset? Here’s my favorite steps to do it.

If you have never been journaling in your life, you better start today. It’s been proven by research that journaling is an effective way to separate ourselves from our thoughts.

Here’s how I understand it: we are not our thoughts. We USE brains, but we are not our brains. When we write down our thoughts (coming from our brains), it’s easier for us to be objective and more insightful.

And, if we do it every day, it becomes easier and easier to gain more insight into WHY we act the way we do. WHERE does it comes from. And HOW did it happen.

It connects us to our true self. The higher self. God. Universe. Or whatever you want to call it.

How do you start journaling your way into a millionaire’s mindset?

The easiest way to start journaling is with prompts. In this post, I will give you several prompts that you can use to get to the deepest money issues.

This is very deep mindset work. Be prepared for a lot of emotions and maybe even tears. But, if you continue with it, this practice will reveal the deepest blocks that you have and then you’ll have the choice to release them. But, more on that later.

  • why am I resisting money? —>
  • where does this resistance come from?
  • how did it happen?
  • if I were to manifest this, what would it look like?
  • why can’t I change this now?
  • if I did change this, what would it go against?
  • why is it keeping me from moving forward?
  • if I did choose this, what would manifest?
  • why am I choosing to hold on to this?

Here’s a short example of how I would journal using these prompts:

I am resisting money because I never feel good enough. I don’t feel good enough because my parents and teachers would always tell me that. Whenever I would do something, it was never right.

Eventually, I learned that I am never good enough and I don’t deserve what I want.

If I were to manifest the feeling of good enough, my life would totally change. I would be more confident in what I do. I would stand up for what I believe in. I would not be scared of being wrong. I would believe in the value I give to my clients.

I can’t change this now because I like believing that I am not good enough. This way, I can continue procrastinating. This way, I can continue staying in my victim mindset. I can continue avoiding responsibilities and work.

You see how I dug deeper with each question? If you are stuck, just continue asking yourself WHY. After you list all the reasons why you are resisting money, you need to answer all the questions listed above for each reason.

That’s a lot of journaling, I know. But you don’t have to do all of these in one sitting. Choose to work on one reason each day and it will be way more manageable.

After you’ve dug deep enough for each reason, you need to let each of them go. As in, you need to clear these mindset blocks.

There’s two steps for that:

  1. make a decision to let that shit go.
  2. tap on it.

It might sound simple. But, how many times have you made a decision to get up earlier in the morning to work out and never actually stuck to it?

Here’s the kicker – you need to make a decision to let go of your millionaire mindset block and actually stick to it. Which means, that you will have to continue working on it.

Daily journaling and tapping, that is. Always staying mindful and aware of your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Constantly asking yourself, “am I doing what’s best for ME?”

I am not going to go into detail on tapping here. I am referring to EFT, the emotional freedom technique. I have written a blog post about how I was able to get rid of my anxiety using EFT. You should go have a read!

Guess what, you can get rid of your mindset blocks using EFT, as well! Hooray! It’s the simplest, quickest way of busting through your blocks towards a millionaire mindset.

Here’s what you do.

After you have identified all the reasons why you are resisting money and have journaled on them, start with one reason and tap on it.

Sit comfortably, and feel all the feelings and emotions that you get while thinking about this one particular reason. For example, I would think of that time when my teacher shamed me in front of the whole class for failing a math exam.

Where do you feel it in your body? What are the specific emotions, colors, or sounds that are coming up when you think about this?

After you have identified this, start tapping on the points and just say “let it go“.

Tap for as long as you can feel these emotions. After each round, tune in to see how intense they are. Only stop after you don’t feel anything or can’t even remember what happened that day.

This is how you clear a mindset block!

As I mentioned above, you will need to journal a lot and tap a lot. Give yourself at least an hour each day to work on this.

It will be intense. But only for a while. After you clear this with tapping, you will feel a lot lighter and… free-er? Is that even a word? It is now!

Remember, even the most successful people keep up with their mindset routine every day. They all have their own routines. And this one will be a great start for you.

And, if you have NO IDEA what EFT or tapping is at all, here’s a short Youtube video that explains it:
